Jamie Rudash, BSN, RN, CLC, childbirth educator and lactation counselor at UHC

Jamie Rudash, BSN, RN, CLC, has worked in labor and delivery for over 17 years and is now the Childbirth Educator and Lactation Counselor at United Hospital Center. Her goal is to teach evidence-based childbirth education, including the Lamaze Six Healthy Birth Practices. Jamie is a certified lactation consultant; she enjoys teaching and encouraging mothers who breastfeed their infants.

In 2019, United Hospital Center (UHC) received international recognition as a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital by Baby-Friendly USA Inc. Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) is the authority for the implementation and a universal program, sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
