Tyler J. Prouty, MD, Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist, received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Prouty also completed his residency at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is board-certified by the American Board of OB/ GYN. Dr. Prouty’s scope of practice includes the full spectrum of obstetric care, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, pre-conceptional counseling, medical and surgical management of menstrual disorders, abnormal pap smears, minimally invasive surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, and contraception issues. He also belongs to several medical associations, including the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
