In this course, new and expecting mothers learn how to prepare for the childbirth experience and primary infant care. Learn through four self-paced video lessons and live Q&A sessions with Lee Ann Romeo, RNC, CCE, CLC — Childbirth Educator and Lactation Counselor at UHC. Topics covered include nutrition and wellness throughout pregnancy, understanding labor, comfort techniques during labor and understanding the medical procedures involved in childbirth.

We know breastfeeding is the very best choice when considering how to feed your newborn. Mothers are encouraged to attend a private class to learn basic techniques for successful breastfeeding from UHC’s Certified Lactation Specialist. These classes are scheduled prior to delivery.
